Terms of Service
What you can expect from TakiFlo, and what we expect from you.
Version 2026-09-08. We record which version you accepted, and when.
Who this agreement is between
These terms are between The Code Source ("we", "us") and the organisation whose account you are creating ("you", "your organisation"). If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to bind it.
They cover TakiFlo: the web application, its API, its embedded components, and anything else we make available under the same account.
Pricing, plans and limits can change
The commercial model for TakiFlo is not settled. We may change the price of a plan, change what a plan includes, change how usage is measured and charged, introduce new charges for things that are currently free, or discontinue a plan entirely.
That specifically includes the number of jobs and notification credits a plan includes, the credit cost of an email, a text message or any other notification, and whether limits apply to things that are currently unlimited — such as the number of people in your account.
We will tell you by email before a change takes effect for you, and we will not apply a price increase part-way through a billing period you have already paid for. If you do not want to continue under the new terms, you can cancel before they apply and use the service until the end of the period you have paid for.
Continuing to use TakiFlo after a change takes effect means you accept it.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by people you invite or provision into it, and for keeping credentials — passwords and API keys — to yourself. An API key can act for any user in your account, so it belongs on your own servers and not in anything a browser downloads.
Tell us promptly if you think an account or key has been compromised.
Your data
Your workflows, jobs, and the records they contain remain yours. We store and process them to provide the service, and for no other purpose. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to train models.
You can export your data, and you can ask us to delete it. Deleting your account deletes the data with it, and we cannot get it back afterwards.
You are responsible for having the right to put the information you upload into TakiFlo — particularly where it concerns other people. If you are holding personal data about your own customers, you are the controller of it and we are processing it for you.
Availability, and what we do not promise
TakiFlo is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that it will be free of faults, or that it will be fit for a particular purpose of yours.
We are not currently certified against any security or compliance standard, and we do not claim to be. If your organisation requires one, TakiFlo is not the right choice for you today.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or the cost of substitute services.
Acceptable use
Do not use TakiFlo to break the law, to send unsolicited messages, to store material you have no right to hold, or to attack the service or anybody else through it.
Notifications sent through TakiFlo reach real inboxes and real phones. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact the people you send to, and for honouring their requests to stop.
Suspension and termination
You can cancel at any time. Your subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.
We do not give refunds. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not return the current one, and you keep full access until the period you have paid for ends.
Ninety days after your access ends, your workflows, jobs and stage history are deleted. We will email you a fortnight beforehand, and subscribing again before that date keeps everything exactly as it is. You can export your data at any time while you still have access.
We may suspend or close an account that is not paid for, that is being used in breach of these terms, or that is putting the service or other customers at risk. Where the circumstances allow it, we will tell you first.
We may stop offering TakiFlo altogether. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the version identifier changes and we will ask you to accept the new version. The version you accepted governs your use of TakiFlo until you accept a newer one.
We keep a record of which version you accepted and when.
